With only a few days left until the holidays and requests for food assistance at an all-time high, Food Banks of Quebec (FBQ) needs your support more than ever if it is to meet these needs.
That is why, from December 7 to 13, the SAQ is encouraging all Quebecers to show their support for the FBQ at any of its 400 stores or online.
Committed partners
In support of the cause, some of its partners are joining this campaign. As a result, for each purchase of any of the 16 participating products identified in the current flyer, the equivalent of one meal will be donated to the FBQ.
Here is how you can take part:
- Make a donation at the checkout counter when you visit an SAQ store.
- Buy a participating product.
- Buy an SAQ-branded wrapping product (part of the proceeds will go to the FBQ).
- Lastly, contribute online on the Food Banks of Quebec website.
The FBQ cause is supported by all SAQ employees
“The holidays should be a season of joy for everyone but that, unfortunately, is not the case,” said Jacques Farcy, President and Chief Executive Officer of the SAQ. “The mobilizing of our employees combined with the generosity of our customers and involvement of our partners means we can bring comfort to those who find themselves in a precarious situation. I am convinced that, together, we can make a difference.”
